Heat Clearance Sale

I went to the Heat Clearance Sale in Mount Waverley where they usually have it twice a year. They sell maxfactor, covergirl, bourjois, ulta 3 and elite products.

Finding parking on the streets was very hard though.

The details as on ozbargain are:

Fri 14th May 4:30pm – 8:30pm
Sat 15th May 8:30am – 4:30pm
Sun 16th May 8:30am – 4:30pm

HEAT WAREHOUSE, BUILDING C, 18-24 RICKETTS RD, MT WAVERLEY

Eftpos and credit card facilities available - min $10, strictly no cash out

The queues for paying were so long though but other than that it was good.

Here is what I came back with. I had to try not to spend too much though coz yes I am saving (doesn't seem like it though with all these sales lolz). I bought all these ulta3 nail polish. They didn' t have a huge range of ulta3 nailpolish though. I had to really dig to find different colours. All $2 each.

Other things I bought:

All the elite stuff were $3 each. The hair brushes were $3 and such a bargain but by the time I saw these all of the brushes sold out quickly (so you may not find any tomorrow) . I was lucky enough to find these 2 hair brushes.

All bourjois items were $5.

The maxfactor eyeshadow and lipgloss were$2 each.

If you're looking for mascara most of the maxfactor ones were already gone in the black colour. These were selling out. There were plenty of covergirl and maxfactor lipsticks/lipgloss. Alot of nailpolishes, eyeshadows and alot of accessories from elite. It will be on for the next few days so if you can make a trip and want to stock up on some cheap makeup definitely head down.

Parcels :)

The last couple of weeks have been crazy with all these deliveries. I got parcels from strawberrynet, outnet, parcel it on and a few other places. My order that I put through the mail forwarding service actually came on a Sunday which was a bit of a shock coz usually they don't deliver on Sundays. I was thinking perhaps they thought it was an urgent mothers day present and delivered it.

Here are some of my purchases throughout the last couple of weeks. I did get a bargain especially with my strawberrynet order as I had been waiting ages for the we miss you discount of 25% (probably waited a year and a half) with all my other discounts included I ended up with 40% off everything. I had to stock up on some of my favourite perfumes such as Marc Jacobs Lola and Ralph Lauren Romance. They came down to around $70 and $50. My favourite make up purchase was the Chanel Coco Rouge lipstick in Organdi Rose which was around $20. I should had bought a few of these at this price but decided on getting other makeup.

I received my Zac Posen for Target US items and the jacket is so cute. It was such a great price and fits nicely.

With my outnet order I purchased this See by Chloe singlet with the 40% off promotion they had and luckily they still had the free shipping so it came to around $30.

I feel really bad for the postie though coming to drop off a lot of parcels in the past week. No more online ordering for now. I would say no more shopping too but the HEAT cosmetics sale in Mount Waverley is going to be on this Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I guess my shopping ban won't be over until Sunday.

Mothers Day Shopping

I have been sick with the cold for over a week now so I haven't had the chance to go shopping. This Sunday is Mothers Day so I went to look for some last minute gifts for my mum. I have already bought one of these index chopping boards which she had wanted for ages. They are actually really nice in the kitchen. She is already using it :). Kmart actually had these on special in the catalogue a week ago for $19 which is a great price.

I also went to DFO to see if I can find some clothes for her too.. I always seem to drift off and buy stuff for myself forgetting what my main purpose for the shopping trip was. I ended up finding this witchery skirt and cost me only $9.50. RRP was $129.95 so I definitely got a bargain. The photo really doesn't do the skirt justice. Its like a tulip style skirt and the colour is antique silver.

I saw the Country Road warehouse having a further 50% off reduced items so I had to go in but I find that the stock at DFO isn't as good as Richmond so I ended up making a trip to Richmond. The salesperson said that it ends this Sunday so if you're looking to stock up on some cardigans or basics for the wardrobe it's definitely worthwhile.

So when I made the trip to Richmond I ended up buying some clothes but also picked up a cardigan for my mum so hopefully she will like it.

I bought her this Trenery Cardigan. The sleeves can be rolled up too. With the 50% off it ended up being $30.

So afterwards I ended up buying things for myself too. I bought these jersey bow dresses, the grey one was $25 and the pink one was $15.00. I already have the black one so now I have one in each colour.

The pointelle pull 3/4 top was $30 and the pocket front cardigan was $20.

I will take my mum out for dinner this Sunday too so it'll be a good day :) Hopefully everyone else has found something nice for their mums or do something nice for her and enjoy mother's day too. Happy Mothers Day!
